Description

When a student with a disability is accused of violating a school rule or regulation, administrators must use caution when imposing the penalty called for in the code of conduct. The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) identifies requirements governing discipline for students with disabilities.  At times, the regulation is complex and several factors must be considered. This self-paced course designed for administrators and special educators seeks to clarify processes required by federal law.
