Integration Specialist
Jennifer Crawford has 16 years in the School District of Oconee County; 11 years teaching sixth grade language arts and 4 as the district integration specialist. She has her B.A. in Elementary Education from Clemson University and her Master’s of Education in Reading, also from Clemson. She will finish her administrative degree in August 2018 from Gardner-Webb University. Jennifer is married to Nathan Crawford and they have 2 children: Walker (8) and Preston (4). Outside of the regular work day, Jennifer teaches dance fitness classes and enjoys hiking, backpacking, and traveling with her family.
Josh Shepard
Director of Technology
Josh Shepard has been in education for 5+ years, most recently as an integration specialist for the School District of Oconee County, and has recently been named the new Director of Technology for the district. Josh received his B.A. in Elementary Education from Southern Wesleyan University and his Masters in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas - Arlington. Josh is married to Adrienne and they have one son, Hudson (3), and a daughter due in August. In his spare time, he enjoys facilitating and taking part in professional development, learning about cutting edge technology, and traveling.
Description
Canvas 101 is a basic introduction to what Canvas is and how it is being used in our district. Participants will receive general information regarding a learning management system in general and the different features Canvas has to offer.
