J. Cory Chitwood
Instructional Technology Specialist
Cory Chitwood spent 20 years in the middle school choral classroom. He has a Bachelor of Music Education and Master of Music degree from Eastern Kentucky University. During his tenure in the classroom, he achieved his CompTIA A+ Certified Professional IT Technician certification and became Technology Coordinator and Web Master for Walhalla Middle School. Now at the District level, Cory spends his time helping teachers in Oconee County effectively use technology in the classroom.
Description
This full-day training will give Fine Arts teachers the opportunity to organize and create courses in Canvas through guided instruction and open lab time to work.

- Take quizzes and turn in homework assignments
- Import courses and course material through Commons
- View sample modules created for Fine Arts teachers
- Share resources with fellow Fine Arts teachers
