Marketing Teacher, Hamilton Career Center
Amy Welch has been teaching Marketing and Business Education courses at HCC for the past 6 years and spent her first two years teaching Business Education and Yearbook at Colleton County High School in Walterboro, SC. Before she began teaching she spent 10 years in the Advertising Industry as a Account Executive for Newspapers and a TV station. She has her BSEd in Marketing Education from the University of Georgia and is currently pursuing her Masters In Secondary Leadership at Furman.
Description
Career & technical education is a focus for the 21st century graduate. Students who graduate with job skills have an advantage in the job market and our job is to help them find the right path for their success. In this COP or PLC we will look at ways to streamline our courses, collaborate across curriculum and schools, find industry partners and become a community of support for each other to ensure the success of all students in Oconee County.
Course Activities
As a SDOC CTE teacher, we will build relationships, work together and give students meaningful experiences to help guide them into their future.
