This is my 10th year in education. I have previously taught at Westminster Elementary and Walhalla Middle School. Most recently I have taught Gifted and Talented half time and been assistant principal half time at Fair-Oak Elementary. At Fair-Oak my focus has been on utilizing MAP data in the classroom to help students succeed.

Description
We will look at the Learning Continuum on NWEA and discuss the benefits of utilizing this as a resource when planning instruction. We also spend a large amount of time going through the Learning Continuum learning goals and planning small groups and instruction for the upcoming school year. We will also look at resources associated with the Learning Continuum such as Khan Academy.

Course Outline
The participant will learn how to navigate on the Learning Continuum.
The participant will plan for small groups and instruction for the upcoming school year.
