“Time. When people ask what gets in the way of improving student learning and teaching, time is consistently the answer, specifically not enough time (Boudett & City, 2014).

How do we get more time and then how do we use it wisely? Boudett and City (2014) try to answer some of those questions with their book Meeting Wise: Making the Most of Collaborative Time for Educators. During this session educators will explore how to develop meetings that make a more deliberate and successful contribution to improving student learning and teaching. Setting meeting purposes, planning the process, preparing, and pacing effective meetings will be addressed. Therefore, making the most out of the shortest amount of time and leaving more time for the important work of analyzing data to inform instruction for student learning.
