Full course description
Participants will engage in a mathematical concept related to the 2023 SC Math standards by identifying essential math vocabulary, using math manipulatives and participating in mathematical discourse strategies to prioritize student-centered learning. Come grow in building mathematical literacy for your grade level content with Anna Shivar, a district instructional specialist and Kristen Vincent, a math coach & interventionist at Ravenel Elementary, leaving with next steps in fostering mathematically literate learning environments for students.
