Full course description
Singletons, teachers who are the only ones at a school who teach a specific course or subject,
often wonder how they can effectively participate in the PLC process like the teachers who
teach the same course or subject. Singletons and administrators will be provided clear direction
and a step-by-step process to engage in powerful and meaningful collaboration. Participants
will receive tools and templates they can immediately utilize to ensure singletons don’t waste
their time with meaningless collaboration.
Participants will:
1. Explore how the Three Big Ideas of a PLC apply to singletons
2. Examine the three On-Ramps for singletons to develop meaningful collaboration
3. Develop actionable next steps
