Course Description
Introduction to Construction is an entry level course designed to give students an introduction to residential construction. Students will learn the basic parts of a typical stick-framed house through a hands-on, project-based approach. Students will develop good work habits and pride in their work as well as in their shop projects. Some of the assignments will allow students to work cooperatively in groups with their peers. Past projects have included model house, dog house, shed, bird house, bird feeder and mailbox.
