Course Description
Presentation Skills will aid students with designing and delivering effective presentations that incorporate a variety of technology. Students will be expected to make presentations in either the workplace or in advanced educational institutions. By giving students the opportunity to learn and hone the skills needed for delivering successful / effective presentations in a high school environment, they will be adequately prepared to make successful presentations in college or the workplace. Students will not only learn the technology and design preparation skills necessary for creating presentations, but will also learn the physical nuances needed to successfully deliver their presentations. This course will promote student use of technology for research and presentation of information. In addition, the communication skills component will be enhanced by the inclusion of presentation and delivery techniques.
