Students will also examine ways to describe data graphically and numerically using measures of central tendency, variation, and position. Students will also learn to draw statistical inferences, and anticipate patterns using probability and simulations. Students will summarize and interpret distributions to analyze and make predictions from data from various fields, such as agriculture, biology, business, economics, education, psychology, engineering, medicine, sociology, and computer sciences.
