Course Description


Environmental science is the study of the living and nonliving parts environment and human impacts on the environment.  The course takes an interdisciplinary approach, investigating complex environmental problems associated with pollution and human demands on natural resources.  Lab experiences and projects will help students learn environmental concepts related to issues in the world today.  Emphasis is placed on current issues such as pollution, climate change, and the influence of economics and politics on environmental policies.
