Course Description
Physical Science is a course that will provide students with knowledge of the world around them. Physical science will provide a basic knowledge of the physical universe that will serve as the foundation for other high school science courses. The course will be based on the foundations of chemistry as well as the foundations of physics. The class will utilize algebraic concepts in the form of word problems. We will study parts of the atom, properties and classifications of matter, chemical reactions, motion, forces, energy, and electromagnetic waves.AP Biology is an introductory college-level biology course. Students cultivate their understanding of biology through inquiry-based investigations as they explore the following topics: evolution, cellular processes — energy and communication, genetics, information transfer, ecology, and interactions.
