Course Description

Physics, the most fundamental of the natural sciences, is quantitative in nature and uses the language of mathematics to describe natural phenomena. This challenging course develops mathematical skills through a rigorous study of applied algebra and is designed to prepare students for the demands of a two- or four-year college degree program. It includes inquiry-based instruction, allowing students to engage in problem solving, decision making, critical thinking, and applied learning. This course is intended to be a course in algebraic word based problem solving with Physics as the theme.
