Course Description
The focus of this course is the physical and cultural characteristics of the Earth. The course is centered on the topics of region, population, culture, and economic systems and environment. Competency will be achieved in the five themes of geography: location, place, region, movement and human-environmental interaction. Map reading and locating places on a map are an integral part of this course.
