Course Description
This course covers 1300 AD through the present as students learn the relationship between cultural/societal interaction and historical events. Students gain understanding of the relationship between history and adaptation to the environment, patterns of human population and migration, development and diffusion of technology, communication and exchange, social structure, belief system, conflict, and political legitimacy and authority. Parallel readings, projects, writing and research are required.
