Course Description

Industrial Technology I is an introductory class that allows students to explore the different areas of technology.  These areas include computer aided drafting, construction, electricity, manufacturing, and air and space transportation.  Students will develop good work habits and pride in their class work as well as in their lab projects.  Some of the assignments will allow for students to work cooperatively in groups with their peers.  the students will also have the opportunity to build personal projects of their choice that they can take home.  Past student manufacturing projects  have included gun racks, Adirondack chairs, coffee tables, chess boards, and speaker boxes.
