Art 3 Honors

All Honors Art Courses require a portfolio review and tryout process.  See your school Art Teacher for specific portfolio and assessment information.  The Honors level art courses are designed for student who have a serious interest, and potential career interest, in the study of visual art.  Advanced conceptual and technical work is the basis of the course.  Students will work with professional level materials, equipment, and supplies.  The course is recommended for students who have an interest in The SC Governor’s School for the Arts, Visual Art as a Technical School or College Degree Major and/or Advanced Placement Art.
