Target Audience: Self-contained Special Education Teachers, Speech Therapists, and Paraprofessionals

Communication is essential for all students to be able to express basic needs. Every student must have a primary mode of communication regardless of cognitive ability. Participants will learn strategies for improving functional communication within the self-contained classroom using various tools (e.g., eye gaze, picture boards, switches).
