Curriculum Based Measures (CBM)

Target Audience: Elementary Special Education, Middle School Special Education, and High School Special Education

Presenter: Dr. Abigail Allen, Special Education Professor at Clemson University

The sessions will provide (a) training or retraining on selecting, administering, and scoring CBM assessments, (b) how to analyze CBM data in concert with diagnostic or mastery measures to identify instructional targets and write IEP goals, and (c) how to use CBM and mastery data monitor progress on goals, including graph analysis using trend lines. Each session will cover the following content areas: reading/writing, mathematics, and social skills/behavior. Participants will practice all instructional and assessment strategies during the workshops.
