Developing Porfolios to Showcase Student Work

Target Audience: High School Classroom Teachers

Students need to have a place to share their work, which is precisely why we see many students posting to social media about their lives. Why not create a venue for students to showcase what they have accomplished in class through a digital platform? Which platform is best? Behance (Adobe)? Google Sites? Google Slides? Adobe Spark? This class/training session would discuss these opportunities and provide a look into each type of platform to allow the teacher to decide which would be best suited for their class. Additionally, the training would look at how to teach students about creating and maintaining their own personal portfolio. Why is a portfolio necessary? What are the benefits or drawbacks of having a personal portfolio?
