Emily Francis will share her background of being an ESOL student and her journey to becoming an ESOL teacher. Strategies on cultural awareness and building a cultural sensitive classroom will be shared. Ms. Francis will also share strategies she is using virtually through distance learning and share some technology and teaching strategies teachers can use for distance learning as well as in person instruction.
