Presenter: Rebecca King, SDOC’s Reading Recovery Lead
We will look at the theory, rationale, and procedures for providing an appropriate book introduction during a one-on-one or guided reading lesson. Topics of conversation will include acute observation, effective scaffolding, and prompting that will keep students on the cutting edge of their learning. We will watch examples and then have time to put theory into practice.
