Engaging Students through Primary Sources PM | Oct

Why primary sources, what's the big deal? Come learn from Kate Dodd, a Social Studies teacher at Seneca Middle, why we should use them; how to effectively use them in the classroom; strategies for helping students analyze primary sources; and how to find quality primary sources. While mainly for ELA and Social Studies teachers, this session is open to all who want to learn the benefits of using primary sources in their classrooms!
